I'm addicted, and a few of you want to hear about anything Skyrim related. I aim to please:
What I've learned from Skyrim so far - about my first character, a mage who died a lot but did a few pretty awesome things.
Skyrim and Political Philosophy - it doesn't get the mythos right. There's too much for me to know. But it definitely hones in on relevant themes: I'm really proud of this post.
Ashok's Skyrim Adventures - me bragging about my latest character, a level 20 two-handed heavy armored barbarian thug. To what degree does he reflect something larger?
A friend crafted a spellsword - the more you like your character being mobile, the more powerful that sort of character is. He's got a large bag of tricks, and imagine your warrior's got the same.
Yeah, the thief/rogue types are uber-powerful. Sneak attacks with bows are 3 times damage at least. And there's opportunity to get attacks that are 15 times as powerful.
I actually have been bad about using sneak on any of my characters. The barbarian I'm using now at around 17-18 could get mauled by a bear and not lose half his life. Heavy armor has its perks.
I noticed your journals popping up in my message center, so I apparently watched you at some point. I can't remember when or anything, but this journal caught the eye of my big nerd side, so I had to comment.
If you do go over to the blog, do take a look at the Skyrim and Political Philosophy post. That was quite a lot of fun to write.
