| I'm not a visual artist, but if I get better as a photographer using this thing, I'll be thrilled. Writing is what I do. I have written some poetry: - "Enfolding" - "Haiku that might as well have been purchased at Walmart" But the majority of my writings has been criticism and analysis: - On Emily Dickinson's "Our share of night to bear..." - On the Gettysburg Address - On "Batman Begins" If you like what I write - or if you're particularly pleased with my comments on your work, tell me on the blog or here, and do consider bookmarking or subscribing to my blog (not the DA, although I welcome attention here too). I'm thrilled to be a part of DA: many of you have incredible work and I'm looking for the right words to express my delight with it. |

Things here are okay: it's gotten a lot colder and I don't get out much. Reading the usual: Xenophon and Plato, trying to get a grip on what Socrates' life meant to them. I enjoy the work but it goes over my head frequently.
Don't know if you'll like this, it's a live recording of Rilo Kiley's "I Never:" [link] Again, hope you feel better soon and thanks for the update!

"I thoroughly detest dueling. If a man should challenge me to a duel, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand, lead him to a quiet place in the middle of the woods, and kill him." -Mark Twain
